Welcome!
I write in the hopes of inspiring others to stand up, speak out, and be passionate about what they believe in. To long have we, as U.S. citizens, been told to be happy with what we have and accept things as they are. Our politicians make horrible choices that tarnish the reputation and strain the international relationships of this great nation, as well as violate the rights of their own people, and we are expected to just look the other way. Corporate greed, self-serving CEO’s, even our own financial institutions rape the working citizen of their financial security while they struggle to support themselves and their families. Meanwhile, we are told to be silent while we lose our jobs, our homes, and our health.
And, of course, being a gay man, I watch as the world-wide gay community has to continually fight for the dignity, respect, and rights we deserve.
The time for shutting up and putting up is over. Sitting idly by changes nothing. It is time for everyone, no matter who you are or what you believe in, to stand up, speak out, be heard, and be angry!
